Career Experiences
Wayne’s aviation journey began in 1995 with the South African Air Force (SAAF), where he served as an aircraft mechanic before qualifying as a pilot. Over his distinguished career, he has flown the Oryx (Super Puma), Puma, BK117, but not limited to, on Specialized Missions which include Sea and Mountain Rescues, Helicopter Emergency Medical Operations, Undersling and Hoisting (Sea & Land), Night Vision Operations (NVG), Instrument and VVIP Flights with the different Presidents of SA including Foreign Dignitaries but not limited to:
He has completed numerous Peacekeeping and Relief Missions throughout Africa incl.(Burundi, DRC, Mozambique, Angola, Comores and Madagasca under the auspices of the UNITED NATIONS(UN), World Health and Food Organisations and or AFRICAN UNION(AU).
